Who is AMU?

Leadership might come naturally, but it isn’t always a given. Leadership can be learned through leadership development programs, which use rigorous study and practice to generate, develop, and strengthen leadership skills. These abilities can assist in demonstrating the importance of leadership. We believe that with proper guidance and motivation, you can help take your organization to the next level. At AMU we strive to help members of the IABP to become better leaders and executives.

Our mission is to offer an education that is accessible to managers with time constraints and individuals with other obligations. We ensure our students learn through an interactive curriculum that focuses on critical thinking, communication, and strategy.

American Management University is here to help current and future executives reach their professional and personal goals. Established in 2018, AMU rode the challenges of COVID-19 and came back stronger.From early 2020 to Mid 2021, AMU suspended new enrollments due to the pandemic until a plan was created to move forward.In July 2021, AMU decided to continue with new enrollments, and essentially starting over on their target student and branding. AMU focuses on graduate and doctorate-level business and leadership programs.Since July 2021, AMU has gained traction and is moving forward with their operational goals.AMU plans on obtaining institutional accreditation from US Department of Education and CHEA approved organizations; the plan is to start the process in early 2025.In the meantime, AMU has developed curriculum for their master’s and doctoral programs with accreditation in mind. In good faith, the university has what it views as “steppingstones” to US accreditation. AMU has received educational membership to the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE is a CHEA-approved programmatic accreditor), educational membership with ASIC UK, and membership with the National Business Education Association.In 2024, AMU attained accreditation with International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE – a private international agency) and the INDEPENDENT INSTITUTE OF ACCREDITATION, RATING AND CERTIFICATION (IARC) a private agency approved by the Kyrgyz Republic’s Ministry of Education. In addition, the school is seeking additional accreditations with other international organizations to help assure students that AMU’s focus is on quality.All faculty members are qualified to teach their areas of expertise and possess credentials from respectable institutions.
